Amazing looks for the sweater weather

August is halfway through and sweater weather is starting to kick in. Everyone loves the coziness associated with sweaters when the temperature drops. There are of course plenty of other reasons why sweaters are so cool. They go well with almost anything, they’re very easy to wear but super stylish nevertheless – you can look good in one without too much effort. That’s why everyone should have a couple of sweaters in their wardrobe. If you style them right, you can look absolutely fabulous. There are many ways in which you can create an eye-catching and very cozy outfit with a sweater.

Cashmere sweaters

Cashmere sweaters have that late summer, early autumn feel to them because they are not chunky or thick, but can still keep you warm on a cool evening. Because they are so lightweight, you can wear them with jeans, skirts, leather leggings, or you can layer them with jackets or blazers. If you want to look really stylish, try some interesting and trendy color combinations, for example, a pair of pale blue jeans with a pastel pink sweater. If you like jackets or blazers, you can try a pair of blue jeans with a white sweater and a red jacket or blazer. Cashmere is a very popular fiber, but a pure cashmere sweater is expensive. However, it is very common to find cashmere blends that are more budget-friendly.

Wool sweaters

If you want a more budget-friendly sweater with a lightweight feel and with all the benefits of natural fiber, try Merino wool sweaters as Irish sweaters from Tara Irish Clothing that are a very stylish option. They have unique knit patterns that give them a more chunky, tridimensional look, but they’re very lightweight and perfect to wear in late summer and autumn. Wool is breathable, moisture-wicking and temperature regulating, so it is perfect even for warmer days. A very chic way to style a wool sweater is with a pleated skirt and a pair of suede boots. You can also try wearing a wool sweater with jeans or with pleated shorts. As for color schemes, try a cream or khaki-colored sweater and a pair of dark green pants. You can also try a blue sweater with an orange skirt or a pair of shorts. Complement this with a  pair of suede shoes or boots.

Cotton sweaters

Cotton is a great fabric if you’re looking for sweaters that are lightweight, comfortable, and breathable. Cotton also dyes very nicely, so you have the added advantage of wearing a vividly colored sweater if you are into that. There are many trendy combinations that you can try, for example, a bright yellow cotton sweater with a green skirt, a red sweater and a pair of jeans, a cobalt blue sweater, and a turquoise blazer with a pair of jeans and a pair of cream-colored boots. For a more daring combination, try a bright orange cotton sweater with a pair of black leather leggings.
